Had a lovely time. Clare was very welcoming and kindly let us check in early as she hadn’t had anyone in the previous night. Lots of nice touches like a welcome pack of food stuffs and other necessities, so you dont have to for a big shop or carry stuff with you. Location is great and the kids loved being so close to the sea. Also having a nice place to come back to and chill, watch a movie when they were tired at the end of the day. Great place to stay.

Clare runs a superb spacious and cosy cottage with lovely furnishings and kitchen supplies. She was a terrific host and gave us a really warm welcome with our 2 small dogs plus dinner recommendation at the nearby Oyster Pearl pub. The breakfast basket was 11/10 with smoked salmon, cream cheese, a loaf of seed bread, pain au chocolat and eggs. In love with the Kent oyster and vinegar crisps provided (and taking more packets of them home!). A perfect weekend getaway stay for exploring Whitstable without having other tourists walking by your windows all day.

What a perfect little find! A calm and beautiful oasis that’s a short flip flop stroll to the beach. Clare’s cabin was so much more than we could’ve imagined! It’s perfect and pretty and we loved our stay. Clare couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating, we loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. A gorgeous place. Highly recommend if you want to explore Whitstable but be out of the main town. Seasalter is glorious

My wife and I have just stayed at Clare’s Cosy beach cabin for the past 2 nights and it was amazing! First of all I was due to stay here in June but due to Covid/Pingdemic I had to cancel my reservation. I kept in contact Clare who was understanding, and we came to an arrangement for find a date this week. Clare met us on our arrival. The Beach Cabin is spacious, clean and on a private residential road and it’s very quiet. Clare had fresh towels ready, a loaded kitchen with all the necessary amenities and a breakfast hamper. Very accommodating. You are a 2-minute walk from Sawcliffe Beach, 10min car/bike ride to Whitstable and 15min from Canterbury. Thank you Clare. We will be staying here again.

The cabin is amazing, literally has everything you need and more, it’s beautifully decorated and cosy with a ‘beach- feel’. The beach is literally at the end of the road and Clare even has boards and beach bits to borrow, no detail is forgotten and we had a great stay. Clare was very accommodating and welcoming and on hand for local suggestions to eat etc. Would love to visit again soon. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay. Everything was as described on the website. The bed was super comfortable and Clare made sure we had a great stay by providing us twice! with fresh eggs, bread, jams, milk and a few other goodies. The cabin is just a 2 minute walk from the beach from where you can walk all the way to Whitstable or in the other direction towards Faversham. Canterbury is just a few minutes away, which made for interesting excursions. The property is very secluded, quiet and clean and Clare was very attentive to make sure we were well looked after. Great stay! Place is a good sized immaculate beach hut vibe cabin, around the corner from the beach, we cycled down to whitstable also within 10 minutes no trouble! The place has everything you need, and more, can tell alot of thought and heart has gone into it lots of special touches, we even had been left a bottle of Brut and Beer which made the trip to celebrate my partners 40th even more special! Beds cosy and shower great too! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would return!! Thankyou!

The Cabin was the ideal hideaway. It is situated on a private estate with little traffic and is a 2 minute walk away from the beach. Although it says it sleeps 4 it was perfect for just the two of us on a weekend away. Even though it is situated at the back of Clare house you are really left alone to enjoy the Cabin and the whole of the back garden. It was so peaceful.

Communication and booking with Clare was so easy especially regarding parking as there are no allocated spaces but they do have an area to accommodate one car.

Upon arrival Clare met us with a very warm welcome and showed us where everything was. If we had been staying longer, or even travelling with children, everything we needed was catered for from beach equipment to garden furniture and games.

The Cabin itself was very spacious and Clare had supplied a plentiful basket of breakfast items and other treats. Even after our first evening out we came back to another bag attached to our door which included chocolate! There was a fantastic assortment of teas too!

The bed was very comfy and there is a sizeable wet room. The whole Cabin and outside decking area is also wheelchair friendly.

The beach is a stony one with Whitstable just a short walking distance away. Trainers recommended as although some of the way is pathed much of it is across the stones but at least it’s flat.

Faversham, the oldest market town in Kent with its Quay and antique shops, and Canterbury are also lovely towns to visit nearby in the car. The Cathedral in Canterbury is definitely worth a visit.

Clare was a friendly, delightful host, and full of recommendations for exploring the local area. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to explore this part of Kent.

We had an excellent stay. A great location which is a short walk from the beach and a very well kept and good sized cabin that worked well for the three of us. It was roomier than we expected and there’s a good space outside that felt quite secluded. Clare was helpful at the start settling us in. There are boards and wet shoes for bathing at the beach which our son loved. We found everything clean and tidy and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

We had a great couple of nights at the cabin on the beach for my birthday. Clare couldn’t have been more helpful. We borrowed bikes and cycled the crab and winkle way into Canterbury we had been provided chairs, swim shoes and towels for the beach. We’d bought breakfast food with us but needn’t have bothered as Claire provided a whole selection of breakfast foods. The cabin is 2 minutes from the beach and about half an hour walk from Whitstable, we went in June and the sea was warm enough to swim.

Lovely little cabin. The beach is close by and feels a lot quieter than the main beach in Whitstable. The walk into Whitstable is definitely not less than 30 mins. I thought as a fast walker it would be faster, but no. Anyway, perfect place to stay to enjoy a day on the beach and some night life in Whitstable.

Clare’s tiny house is great! Really snuggly and beautifully decorated. Clare is an outstanding host, very generous and kind. We had a very sunny week in Sept in the Cabin by the Beach, and the garden area had lovely spots to enjoy morning, afternoon and evening sun. The cabin is very well equipped and we loved waking up there and returning to rest and relax at the end of the day. Clare is great host and her breakfast provisions were a lovely touch. The location is fantastic for beach walks and access to Whitstable and the north Kent Coast. We’ll be back!

What a wonderful couple of days made even more special by the fantastic hospitality of Clare and Andy. The space did not disappoint and there was everything you could possible want for a break away. We loved the kitchen area. We didn’t have much luck with the weather but the Cabin provided a lovely respite from it. It really is about 100 metres to the sea and this amazing coastline, that was the prefect anecdote the busy Whitstable area. You couldn’t want for a better spot if you want some sea action. This is a gem of place. Book it!

Clare was great from the start. Quick to reply to my first enquiry & friendly & helpful from the moment we arrived making sure we had everything that we needed. The cabin is located in a quiet area of Seasalter, close to the beach. The cabin was much bigger & spacious than I thought it was going to be! Luxury for two people but can easily accommodate 4 comfortably. Spotless clean inside it’s a well thought out space. Plenty of power sockets & a good sized mirror. A lovely comfortable bed, a sofa bed/seating area & a decent sized kitchenette that had EVERYTHING & more including a selection of teas & coffees, fridge, microwave, cooking facilities & a good selection of breakfast options to suit all! The wet room had a brilliant shower with a good hot water supply. Plenty of fresh, clean towels were provided. Outside there is a lovely seating area & a chiminea. Overall I can’t fault anything & I would definitely stay here again.

The Cabin is a quaint little place, with everything you need packed in it. Was so taken by it that I would love to have one myself Location was great, in our opinion. Seasalter beach was a stones throw away & we had a pleasant walk on the beach down to Whitstable. Just a note to say, it is a pebble beach & approx 30 mins walk to Whitstable, but that certainly didn’t put us off, nor our four legged friend, Louie – he also enjoyed the outside at the cabin; with its own pebble beach & lots of decking Our host, Clare, was absolutely charming & we can’t thank her enough for her hospitality. We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at The Cabin & we will most definitely be back

Clare’s Cabin is exactly what you expect from reviewing the photographs. We booked a single night at the last moment passing through on our adhoc road trip. Clare went to every trouble to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and realy the sparkling new cabin does not need a whole lot to make it a very cozy place. The Cabin is situated just a few minutes walk from the sea. While we had to get up early, Clare convinced us to have a quick stop on the seashore before we were on our way, and it was absolutely stunning! Thank you for your hospitality and care! We hope to stay with you again some time soon.

I was looking for a place to overnight in after meetings during the day, and thought a place by the sea would be relaxing. Clare’s little place did not disappoint, being less than 100 yards from the sea on a private estate. Clare also mentioned some local pubs that served some very good food, and this was much appreciated. Having a wet-room bathroom in that place was a good idea as it means there is more room in the bathroom. The bed is also very comfortable; very important when just overnighting in a place. The Cabin is a great location really close to the private beach in Seasalter. It’s a very comfortable private space, well furnished with a lovely big en suite shower room and mini kitchen complete with fridge freezer. I was visiting with my 2 small dogs who loved their walks. I was made to feel very welcome but not disturbed.
